VMM kurulumunu tamamlandınız, HyperV sunucunuzu VMM’e eklediniz. Fakat bir baktınız, host üzerinde bir ünlem işareti var. “Need attention” şeklinde uyarı veriyordu sanırım. Bu durum, HyperV’deki bazı update’lerin eksik olmasından kaynaklanıyor. Microsoft update ile çıkmadığı için elle bu updateleri yüklemeniz gerekli. VMM kurduktan sonra, aşağıdaki iki update’i yapmanız gerekiyor. Microsoft update ile cıkmıyor ne yazık ki.

Hyper-V Update for Windows Server 2008 x64 Edition (KB956589)
Install this update to resolve potential issues when you manage Hyper-V with System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM).

Önemli bir adım aslında VMM ayarlamasında. Fakat VMM kuralı uzun bir zaman olduğu için bu makaleyi eklemek sonradan aklıma geldi.

[…] After adding new host in SCVMM panel, you can see this warning. You see “Needs Attention” in Status pane. If you look Status Tab in Host Properties, you can see more detailed information about Hyper-V host. As you can see in the second picture, upgrade available for Hyper-V. That means, we should update new Hyper-V server if we want to use it well with SCVMM. Also in the same tab, you can see other details like Connection status, Agent Status, Agent Version and Virtualization Service Status. To update Hyper-v, you should install 2 patches.
